The Limousines (aka The Airport Taxis)

Made known by "Internet Killed the Video Star" and the easy to relate to "Very Busy People," this Indietronica band is best for smooth vocals with an electronic twist. Their first, and to my knowledge only, full album "Get Sharp" starts out with the powerful "Dancing at her Funeral" with an 'Oh, no' to bite at your soul. They then proceed to push your emotions around for the rest of the album. The catchy lyrics and dance-able beats will keep you coming back for more.

The vocalist, Eric Victorino, has a voice seemingly designed for electronic music, and coordinates perfectly with instrumentalist & producer Giovanni Giusti. Each song is almost guaranteed to get stuck in your head one by one and leave you inadvertently singing them out loud. They have an amazing future ahead of them, and I can only hope their next album will be as good as their previous one.
